By Karen W.

Well, here it is another new year! New beginnings, they say. New resolutions, many of which will be broken before the month is past.

Have you made any new year’s resolutions yet? Or have you given up on making them this “late” in the year? I’ve gotten to the point in my life that I no longer make resolutions. I break them! She couldn’t believe what she was seeing! Why would anyone do this for her? He must want something from me, she reasoned. After all, no one gives anything without wanting something in return, right? So she continued scratching her way up the rocky walls with all her might, ignoring the shadow of His Presence over her.

“Daddy, would you turn on a nightlight? It’s too dark in my room!”

Freedom: Fly Like an Eagle...or Swim Like One?Freedom: Fly Like an Eagle...or Swim Like One?
By Karen W.

Eagles are awesome and stately creatures to watch. They gracefully soar across the broad, open sky above the earthbound creatures below. Oh, the grace and strength and peace that they seem to convey. It is as if they have no worries or cares of their own, isn’t it?

By Karen W.
